Amanda Rodriguez
Welcome, my name is Amanda Rodriguez. I am from the Isle of Enchantment, Puerto Rico. I am a young mother to a five-year old boy. My birth family resides in Puerto Rico, but I have the support of my boyfriend, the father of my son, locally. I currently work for Valencia College as a Lab Assistant I, where I guide students through laboratory experiments, and provide tutoring on engineering technology theory. Although I seem to manage a lot these days, I still excel at all my commitments. I am a senior at Valencia College finishing my Bachelor in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology, majoring in Computer Systems Technology with a overall GPA of 3.11. I am also a proud member of NSBE, and a treasurer for the NSBE Valencia Chapter. Before graduation approaches and I can celebrate the completion of a chapter in my life, I'm working alongside Yamil Rivera to bring our goal to fruition, which is to complete our senior design project, and the possible start of a business.
