August 9, 2017
Met to discuss ideas for our senior project. Decided that we want to create something that is current with the market and could be turned into a business.

August 23, 2017
Came up with an agreement on the idea of a modular smart home, we merged our separate ideas into one.
September 19, 2017
After meeting with Dr. Notash we got together to discuss more ideas, as suggested. Decided to research on our own, and meet again tomorrow.

September 20, 2017
Met to discuss more ideas and created a presentation to show Dr. Notash in our next meeting.

October 10,2017
After meeting with Dr. Notash we discussed how to split research. Came up to the conclusion that we both need to do a general research, and meet again later to discuss our findings.

October 18 2017
Met to discuss the research we have done separately. Decided to stick with three devices and also focus on network security. Came to the conclusion that we both need to research on each device we want to create.

November 1, 2017
came together on this day to exchange information from what we reported separately, but and narrow down our research. Decided that research should now be on the technical side of things.

November 8, 2017
Shared the theoretical circuits we created separately, and decided to merge them for the best realistic solution, based on help from Yamil's brother, who is an electrician.

November 13, 2017
After meeting with Dr. Notash we met to talk about getting in contact with Saad and how to approach the situation, to get the most out of it.

November 15, 2017
After meeting with Dr. Chisholm we discussed how to create the network of our project, came up with a design with the help of Saad that we plan to present to Dr. Chisholm to get her input at a later date.

November 22, 2017
After meeting with Dr. Chisholm we modified our original design to follow Dr. Chisholm advice. We also split writing the reports into parts, in order to divide and conquer.

November 29, 2017
Discussed the progress of our parts of the report, and put together a rough draft to present to Dr. Notash on the next meeting. Started working on the presentation to give us time to practice.

December 6, 2016
After our last meeting with Dr. Notash we practiced the presentation together, and noticed time might be an issue.

December 7, 2017
After our successful presentation, we discussed the suggestions the panel gave us, and implemented them on the final report draft.
